1 John 3:17-18
But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up
his tender affections from him, how does the love of Elohim stay in him? My little children,
let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.
Please pray with us as we seek a way to make a presence in the community of
Batan, Costa Rica and help a family in need. We met this family a few weeks ago at the
Restauración Maná congregation. They had been renting a home from another family,
but unfortunately the father was not rehired as a banana field worker so they can’t pay
the rent on the place they currently live. The shepherd at the congregation gave them
a structure they had covered with chicken wire to raise chickens. Since the zone the structure
is at is flood prone they have to build the houses on stilts. The place has some wiring
and plumbing but they need flooring, walls, bathroom, and septic as you can see in the pictures..
My brothers, what use is it for anyone to say he has belief but does not have works? This belief is unable to save him. And if a brother or sister is naked and in need of daily food, but one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” but you do not give them the bodily needs, what use is it? So also belief, if it does not have works, is in itself dead. But someone might say, “You have belief, and I have works.” Show me your belief without your works, and I shall show you my belief by my works.
Our family ministry has helped in building houses for the elderly, poor
and homeless people. This time it will serve this family while their situation improves.
This is a family of 4; A husband and wife who are brethren/believers in Abba and His Son.
They have a teen young lady and a 1 year old baby.
He who shows favour to the poor lends to YHWH, And He repays his deed.
Would you consider them in your prayer and offerings?
He who gives to the poor does not lack, But he who hides his eyes does have many curses.
Please count your blessings and love the brethren. Would you help us make this
chicken coop into a home? If you feel led, please click the donate button here below,
or contact us for our mailing address(in the USA).
