“Jackfruit is a sweet, delicious, and exotic fruit that is packed with many nutrients
and benefits. Jackfruit is known as the jack of all fruits. It is a rich source of vitamin,
minerals, phytonutrients, carbohydrate, electrolytes, fiber, fat and protein. This fruit
also contains calorie but no cholesterol or saturated fats. Consume jackfruit for
the best taste, nutrition and its many health benefits.”
We finally have some Jackfruit seeds! A few months ago we had asked a family about
a tree we saw while passing by with the huge fruit hanging from them. We asked
what the name of the fruit was called here and they did not know. Today they gave us
a whole fruit. A 15 lbs Jackfruit is considered to be small but a lot of tasty healthy food.
“The Jackfruit is the largest tree bearing fruit in the world ranging from 10-100+ lbs.
The flavor is absolutely delicious, but not exactly worth the work unless you make a
party out of it. My strongest recommendation would be to befriend someone who
grew up eating these and likes to cut in to them and do all the work, then just pop
over and eat some. Also, invite me.” ~Fruitmaven.com
To do the best for others is the love found in Torah towards the stranger, poor,
widows and orphans. That good also comes by showing others how to feed their
families and improve their health. By using the dietary instructions of Abba YHWH
we have been able to lead people to a better life. It is a way to repentance to show
people what is food according to Elohim and the effects of eating meats like pork.
We also have shown pictures comparing shrimp to cockroaches. YHWH’s commandments
are life/chaim! L’chaim Pura Vida is all about bringing people to a better life with less disease. Growing your own food and cooking with less additives is better for your health.
3 John 1:2
Beloved ones, I pray for you to do well in every way,
and be in health, as your life is doing well.
“For it is not a worthless Word for you, because it is your life, and by this Word
you prolong your days on the soil which you pass over the Yarden to possess.”
Here are some great ideas on how to cook with Jackfruit!
